How to Appeal a Punishment

Introduction

Appeals are your chance to explain your side, show that you understand the rules, and prove that you are ready to follow them in the future. This article will guide you on how to submit a punishment appeal.

Appeal Guidelines

Temporary Ban & Mutes

If your punishment is a temporary ban or a mute, then you can not appeal it. This is to make sure that players understand the consequences of breaking the server rules, and refrain from breaking them again in the future, and receive a more severe punishment.

However, you can still appeal a false punishment. Therefore, if you believe that you've been punished wrongfully and/or the evidence & reason provided to you for the punishment are not reasonable in accordance with our server rules & policies, it can then be revoked after further review.

Appeal Submission Rules

You can only appeal two punishments per platform. Therefore, you'd no longer be able to appeal another in-game permanent ban if you've already appealed two in-game punishments in the past.

You are only allowed to submit another punishment appeal after the next 31 days since your previous appeal was denied. Attempting to bypass the cooldown period and submitting another appeal during it will result in an immediate denial.

Be patient with your punishment appeal. Once you have submitted a punishment appeal means that it's been logged into our system. Creating more than one punishment appeal for the same punishment, or messaging the staff members in DM's won't speed up the process in general.

• You may only appeal twice per platform. No additional appeal requests will be accepted.​

Be Honest

Lying in your appeal will not increase the chances of it being accepted, so we ask that you be honest. We thoroughly check and investigate each appeal and verify the information provided to us, so you won't benefit from lying to us.

Much more acceptable behavior would be to take accountability for your actions and provide us with reasons to give you another chance.

Common Appeal Scenarios

VPN Blockage

While connecting to the server, if you encounter a screen that disallows you from joining due to usage of a VPN,

• If you have a VPN enabled, turn it off.
  • If you're using a VPN, you must submit a VPN Bypass Request and be whitelisted before connecting.
• If you are not using a VPN, submit a VPN request HERE and select the reason: I am not using a VPN
  • These requests take some time to be reviewed.

IP Conflict

If you have encountered a punishment that does not appear on your punishment page, it's most likely an IP Conflict. You can create an appeal to resolve this problem HERE. Make sure to attach a screenshot of your ban-page and/or mute reason.

Chargeback Issues

If you have been banned for chargebacking, do not create a punishment appeal. Instead fill out a payment-related ticket HERE, and explain your problem there.

Disconnection Issues

If you are unable to connect to the server due to a bug, do not create a punishment appeal. Wait a few minutes before trying to connect again. If you are playing on newer versions, try downgrading to 1.20.1, and if every thing fails, create a support-ticket HERE.
