Help!!!! Nick Command and Silk Spawner

I have the nick command item and the silk spawner item, I try and right click them while in my hand and nothing happens..

Then they must be fake, did you buy them from the ah or did you get them from a crate, because if you buy them from the ah people might try to scam you and put fake ones
